The Blood Moon Will Rise!

Once again Takofanes has returned to rid the world of all life. This Halloween the world of Champions Online will also change under the Blood Moon.

The event will run through the Halloween weekend and end on Tuesday November 2nd.

Here are the times/dates- 03:00:00 a.m. Friday October 29, 2010 PDT (10:00:00 a.m. Friday October 29, 2010 in GMT) To 03:00:00 a.m. Tuesday November 2, 2010 PDT (10:00:00 a.m. Tuesday November 2, 2010 GMT)

The Blood Moon event offers a variety of activities that will treat you to new challenges and rewards. There are also a number of perks that you can earn while participating in the event.

Save the Undead Heroes!
Takofanes has trapped the souls of the Heroes who fell during the Battle of Detroit and are commanding them to spread ruin across Millennium City! Band together with your fellow heroes to defeat the undead husks of the fallen and release them from the pestilent grasp of Takofanes!
There are 13 Undead Heroes to help in Millennium City. Each has a beacon that should guide you to their location. For your efforts you can earn Items, Devices and Zombie costume pieces.
Rescuing the souls of the undead heroes will earn you a piece of a zombie action figure. Collect all the pieces to create your very own little zombie.

BITE!
Players will have the chance to join the Wolf Hunters and rid the land of the abominable Werewolves. However, falling to one of the beasts will force you to rise under the curse and become one yourself.
You can find these Werewolves and Hunters in the Desert near Snake Gulch, in Canada on the frozen lake near the Refinery, and in Monster Island along the shores of Slither Beach. You can also see the location of the Quest NPC on the map. Just look for their mark.

Rise of Takofanes!
The Undying Lord has risen, and is appearing throughout Millennium City. Those who are strong enough to defeat his retinue will receive unique perks and rewards only available during the Blood Moon event.
Upon defeat of his minions Takofanes will retreat but rest assured he will return. There are 3 locations around Millennium City where Takofanes will rise again. Look for the ominous cloud that precedes him.
